Today I’m sharing with you this delicious homemade lemonade recipe that will keep you wanting more! It’s the perfect low-calorie drink and also a great drink for when you have guests over!
What I love most about this lemonade recipe is that it is low-calorie and that is a huge Win in my books!
I made this drink last Summer and I just can’t get enough of it. I tell you, it’s a delicious fizzy citrus hit and it leaves you feeling so refreshed and wanting more. I love this lemonade recipe. I think this would also make a perfect light cocktail. Pop some Vodka in and voila.
This lemonade recipe has been a winner with me for a few years. Every time the warmer months enter I find myself making this drink. I don’t know what it is about it, but I look forward to warmer weather just for this drink.
I purchased this mint plant at my local markets and can you believe I’m struggling to keep it alive! My name in this house is called “The plant killer”… Because that tends to be what I do best. I don’t meant to. I wish it didn’t happen. I try to follow the instructions but thus far no plant has ever survived over a month with me except my lavender and that’s only because I planted it outside my kitchen window and I can see when it needs me…. Plus I’m pretty sure lavender is a very resilient plant!
In all seriousness though my goal is to really grow some herbs without killing them! Surely it is NOT that hard. Or is it? I will let you know. Then I can have fresh mind on hand every time I make my yummy lemonade recipe 😉

Love the sneaky bit of brown sugar in the recipe, it would add such a nice caramel element instead of regular sugar. Stunning photos I wish summer was here now. Not long now though for us, today was close to 25’c.
Stopping by from Fabulous Foodie Fridays.
25 is perfect weather! Winter gets SO cold here. The brown sugar certainly helps make the lemonade Lizzie. It’s so yummy. x
I am a little jealous of your Belgian weather! This looks sensational. Your new blog is beautiful.
Don’t be too Jealous. Most of the year it’s freezing! We are about to go into Autumn and Winter and omg does it get crazy cold! We get days like out Australian winter in Summer here and it feels so mild compared to the winter we experienced when we moved over! haha. In saying that Summer is beautiful here but my favourite season so far is Spring with all the leaves growing back and the gorgeous flowers blooming. Can’t beat it. Still cold though.
The photos are fabulous and the drink sounds and looks that way too! I’m drinking it with my eyes, yum!
