Happy New Year Friends! I’m so sorry I have been so absent these past few weeks! The blog needed to be put aside while I spent quality time with my family and enjoying all of the festivities of Christmas and New Years! I’m back though and have a little freebie for you today. It’s a pretty gold Free New Year Desktop Wallpaper to make your desktop uber cute and sparkle.
I have many things to be grateful for for 2015 and many things to look forward to in 2016 and I’m so excited to start the year fresh again with new goals and aspirations. A few of my goals this year include becoming better at home organisations and life organisations in general, adapting to sending my 2.5 year old to school which is what is done here in Belgium. It freaks me out and it’s scary but I don’t want him to fall behind as it’s such a good opportunity for him to learn fluent French. I will be going on a bit of a health and fitness journey as yes… I have completely let go of myself. I also want to start taking French lessons so I understand what on earth my son is on about when he comes home as it’s very common for them to mix two languages and I want to get my Belgian license which I’m petrified of as I don’t drive (though I know how to drive a bit) and people here are kinda insane when it comes to driving. The husband and I have lots of plans to start planning trips around Europe for the boys and I and the list goes on.
Unfortunately it leaves my blog right at the back of the priorities list. I WISH I had more time and was this hardcore amazing organisation freak but alas I am not. So I’m going to step back a bit and take it easy and post when I can and when something really excites me. I would love to blog full time and one day make a small income from it, beats going to work to a job you don’t love but my kids are young, I’m a stay at home mum with no rush to go back to work so I’m going to make the most of this time and learn a third language and spend more time enjoying life away from the computer. Don’t worry, I won’t be completely gone, I’ll be around but just not as much.
It’s one of those things, when you love something so much you can easily do it all day and forget everything else… that’s what blogging is for me.
I’ll try to post when I can and share with you guys what I’m up to. I also want to start cooking more so if my little cooking goal works then I’ll be making more yummy meals and hopefully share them with you guys. Don’t worry, my family doesn’t starve but meat and three veg is pretty boring so no posts about that! Haha.
Thank you SO much fro your amazing support and popping over to my blog. You guys rock!
Wishing you a Happy New Year and an amazing, prosperous 2016!!
Big hugs! xx
